wow... this took a while

I haven't written anything substantial in SUCH a long time. Not since my laptop wiped my writing folder off one of my USBs and I lost about 6 months to a year of work (possibly even 2 years)... I haven't managed to write it again and it really ground me to a halt again.

But I have taken up an invite to write something new with a friend which will most turn out to be a graphic novel, and while I have been exploring my characters and have been writing a bit, at that point I wasn't adding much up onto here.

But I'm back - as well as doing some more uploading, I will also be doing NaNoWriMo again, which should jumpstart my writing again!

If it helps, I still have an old version of The Awakening you sent me to proofread. I'm surprised it's survived through several reformats and a new computer, but it's still there XD
